Although I’m connected to divine universal energy every moment of every day, I’m not open to disembodied spirits every moment of every day. Let me explain the difference for me between being a psychic and being a medium. Being connected to divine universal energy is knowing my turest spirit/soul self and having a loving, trusting relationship with that part of myself, which in turn allows me to have a true loving relationship with God. That being said, this relationship enhances my natural psychic abilities that are clasified as the ‘Clair’s’. Clair is the french word for clear. For example, clairvoyance is clear seeing, clairaudience is clear hearing and so forth. For more information about he clairs you can read my post, So you think you might be psychic.
So what does that mean? It doesn’t mean I can read your mind or see all you secrets when we first meet. What it does mean is that I receive information psychically from guides, guardians and higher energetic beings known as Angels, Arch Angels and Ascended Masters. I can also feel energy changes and because I have lots of years of experience I’m able to discern meaning from the different energy frequencies I encounter. Does this mean I never experience unpleasant life events. Absolutely not? I have free will and with free will I get to choose whether or not to heed the information I receive.
When I sit with clients for psychic counseling I open myself up completely to my client’s guides and guardians as well as Arch Angels and the Ascended Masters. I deliver the messages that they present for the highest benefit of my client. These messages typically consist of information regarding the clients past, present and future life purpose. This information comes to me in the form of seeing scenes from someones life like a movie clip, sometimes these scenes are in my head and sometimes they play out in front of me as if I could walk into that moment in time. I always hear messages being spoken into my ear and this is like hearing my own voice talking to me about situations of which I have no personal knowledge. As an empath I can also feel the emotional energy of my client in the past, present and future. This feels like a wave that washes over me completly over-riding my own emotions.
As a Medium I open myself at a different energetic level to the spirits of the deceased. Once open to these spirits I able to communicate with any deceased spirit who steps forward. However I, like all mediums, have a guardian that keeps all but those invited outside the boundaries I have set in place. When a loved one enters the room I can feel the relationship between the client and the deceased. Then they introduce themselves to me by telling me their name and showing themselves to me. They usually show themselves how they looked when they felt their best. Then they tell me some details about themselve and the client. This is intended to show the client that their loved ones are with them. For me the experience is alot llike what was portraid in the movie Ghost. At times I allow a spirit to partially merge with me to deliver their message. This helps some clients accept that the messages are truly coming from their loved one. Messages from deceased loved ones are messages of comfort, healing and closure and most of all they are messages of love.
In the end, whether a psychic session or a medium session I am just a couier of messages from loved ones for the highest benefit of the client. I hope this information helps you with your decision whether to see a psycic.
Recently I was asked by two young ladies in their early teens my opinion about psychic mediumship readings for kids. I immedietly responded with a resounding No, stating firmly that there is no need for children to have readings. My response reflected my own fears. When I was not much older than they, I started to experiment with my psychic abilities and it wasn’t always a fun experience. Realizing they weren’t asking for fun; I advised that what they needed was to better understand themselves and their abilities, and that would come with time.
When your young being psychic can be confusing, scary, exciting, awesome and sometimes overwhelming. It’s importand to understand why you hear, feel, taste, see or smell what others don’t perceive.
Extra Sensory Perception (ESP or PSI) is the ability to sense beyond the physical world using more than the ordinary five senses. sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Those who exhibit active ESP are considered psychic. These extra senses are similar to our ordinary five senses and are classified as clairvoyance, claraudience, clarsentience/empathy, clairgustance and clairalience.
Clairvoyance refers to the ability to see objects or events that are happening, have happened (retro-cognition), or will happen (precognition) outside of one’s physical view.
Clairaudience refers tot he ability to hear without any other additional physical sensory information.
Clairsentience refres to the ability to perceive a feeling throughout the whole body, without any cues related to the feeling or information. Some people with this ability may also be considered empaths. This is considered a type of telepathy that allows emotions to be felt. This comes from one’s ability to tune into energetic fields.
Clairalience refers to the abiltiy to smell aromas that are not detected by anyone else. It is thought that these aromas are projected by spirits or energetic fields.
Clairgustance is the ability to taste without putting anything in the mouth. It is thought that those who have this ability can perceive the essence of different energy freqencies.
If you think you might be psychic, you’re not crazy or a freak. You may feel alone with this but you’re not. You are perfectly normal. In a 2005 Gallup Poll 75% of american reported to believe in ESP and according to a study by the parapsychology department of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, 53% of all americans have had some type of psychic experience at least once in their lives. And I believe 100% of humans have the abiliy to to access their extra sensory perceptions.
Just like learing to play an instrument, drawing or skateboarding, all that’s needed to master these abilities is time a good teacher and practice.
“Nia!” is Swahili for intention, and ‘I love it’. Something about the sound and feeling of saying nia is so much more soulful than the word intention. Most of the time the way I view life is with a spiritual and soulful twist, it’s just the way I’ve always been, and the word nia fits in perfectly. So I’ll take the definition of nia one step closer to the divine and say nia is a goal for your soul, a way of setting the energy pattern with which you will interact with life .
“Life proceeds out of your intentions for it. When you are aware of this, you can live your life deliberately.” ~Neale Donald Walsch
So many people live life in autopilot and their only intention is to accomplish as much as they can before they are allowed to shut down at the end of the day. If this sounds familiar to you then maybe you should examine your daily nia and then your life’s nia. I know, I know, you’re busy. You don’t have the luxury of time to sit around and examine your life, let alone the underlying energy with which you create your daily experiences.
There are 365 days in a year. That’s plenty of time.
There are 24 hours in a day. That’s plenty of time.
There is only this moment and that’s plenty of time.
Take a minute, just a minute to answer this question. Do you spend most of your energy thinking or feeling like you don’t have enough… ?
“Our life always expresses the result of our dominant thoughts.” Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855).
This is a brilliant quote, but I am going to add “and feelings” to the end. So, “Our life always expresses the result of our dominant thoughts and feelings.”
Taking the time to examine and create your nia for your life will guarantee that you are providing your life the correct thoughts and feelings to express.
“Difficulties indeed sometimes arise; but common sense and honest intentions will generally steer through them.” Thomas Jefferson (1762-1826)
